We share our stories visually, through lifestyle and neighbourhood guides, quirky news articles, and videos that deep-dive into the hidden side of the 852.
Since our launch in 2012, we have fast become one of Hong Kong’s leading websites for things to do and where to do them. We also provide an ever-expanding directory to help you navigate the maze of Hong Kong. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.

You will play a critical role in being responsible for all daily social media and digital marketing operations for Localiiz and other intracompany publications. You must demonstrate to be self-motivated and hard-working through your previous work experience or education. You will:
• Manage all day-to-day management of social media accounts and newsletters
• Conduct driving performance-driven content planning
• Implement and maintain a regular publishing schedule across all social media platforms
• Manage efforts to build and maintain brand’s social media reputation
• Work on special projects and other assignments as required
• Monitor, listen, and respond to social media conversations
• Damage-control negative comments on all platforms
• Provide training and guidance for editorial and marketing team members on social media
• Implementation of best practices and strategies
• Work with the editorial team to manage the creation and publishing of content
• Provide strategic advice on effective social media engagement through powerful content ideas
• Measure the impact of social media campaigns, while maximising results
• Grow social media presence on existing and new platforms
• Manage all paid campaigns including implementing targeting strategies and optimisations
• Engaged in ongoing learning and development of digital expertise and social media tools
A university degree in communications- or media-related studies
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated work experience in social media or marketing
Native English speaker with excellent writing and editing abilities
Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is advantageous
In-depth knowledge and management experience with major social media platforms
Creativity and savviness in the use of social media, with a results-driven approach
Experience in content creation and copywriting
Experience using social media analytics tools
Experience with analysing online marketing campaignsIn-depth understanding of social media performance metrics
Multimedia (photography and videography) skills considered a bonus
A team player with attention to detail and initiative
Candidate must be willing to work a full-time, in-house position.
